Luke Grant chats with 'Remarkable Australian', Justin Hurcom, a volunteer firefighter who has developed a powerful remote controlled electric pump which uses its own software platform to save lives, save people’s houses, and protect people’s livelihoods.

Hurtec exibits at AFAC24

Hurtec officially launched a range of electric firefighting pumps and vehicle management software at AFAC24.
AFAC is Australasia’s premier emergency management and first responders’ event, showcasing the latest products, services, and solutions.
Hurtec demonstrated two new Hurtec fully automated electric firefighting pumps.
A prototype of the new Compact Light Attach vehicle was displayed on the Hurtec Stand. And being electric, this was the first time a working pump was allowed to operate indoors at AFAC. On the outdoor Demonstration Deck, delegates were treated to a live demonstration of the awesome Power Light, a fully automated pump delivering up to 200 litres per/minute.
AFAC visitors also had an exclusive sneak peek at the new Hurtec mobile-friendly web app.
